Bessie Arnold The figure head was taken from the wreck and was used as the grave marker of the crewmen who died in the ship-wreck. A century of exposure to the elements and the consequential deterioration, a duplicate has been made in a more durable medium to be sited on the grave. the original is now on display in the Free Church, Kilmory, Isle of Arran The story of the wreck can be found at www.mightyseas.co.uk/marhist/furness/duddon/bessie_arnold.htm
