Marvin Elliott woodcarver sculptor lives and works by the sea on the Island of Arran, where beaches provide him with many of his motifs, and very often the material as well.

As always, process is all important in making of these works, and nothing is left unresolved The outward spontaneous appearances can often, paradoxically be the end result of a laborious process, involving complex processes.

All works shown are designed and created by Marvin Elliott, some commissioned others pursued ideas. Most pieces are in collections both public and private, throughout the world.
